The 3rd of May Constitution commemorated in Chisinau
The Embassies of Lithuania and Poland in Chisinau organized a reception and a concert to commemorate the anniversary of the Constitution of the Polish-Lithuanian Commowealth adopted in 1791.
"The 3rd of May Constitution was based on solidarity, cooperation and shared values. Today, as part of the European and Euro-Atlantic community, we continue to adhere to the same principles, supporting our friends and neighbors, especially Moldova and Ukraine, who are building a better future for their people in a united and peaceful Europe. We welcome Moldova's choice and are determined to support it throughout the process of accession to the European Union," said Ambassador Tadas Valionis to the guests gathered at the Republic Palace.
The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Dorin Recean, ministers, diplomats, representatives of culture and business.
