Seminar on society resilience to new risks held at the Embassy
On June 30, Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Moldova organized a seminar for representatives of civil society “Strengthening Resilience of the Moldovan Society in Countering Hybrid Threats: Role of NGOs”.
Opening the seminar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Moldova Kęstutis Kudzmanas stated that improving public awareness and resilience to modern new threats is a relevant task for each country, therefore Lithuania is ready to share its experience and transfer knowledge in this area to Moldovan civic activists and the general public.
Specialists of strategic communication of the Lithuanian Armed Forces and representatives of Moldovan civil society working in the fields of media, promotion of civic activism, and social research participated in the seminar and delivered presentations.
In 2019-2022, Lithuanian Embassy performs the functions of the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Moldova.
