PRESIDENT ALGIRDAS BRAZAUSKAS PASSED AWAY

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Moldova in deep sorrow informs that President Algirdas Mykolas Brazauskas died on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Lithuania will observe days of mourning from June 29 to July 1. A book of condolence is opened at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Moldova (24/1 Ion Vasilenco str.) from Monday, June 28 between 15:00 p.m. and 17:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, between 11:00 a.m. and 13:00 p.m. and between 16:00 p.m. and 18:00 p.m. More about the funeral services and accreditation for the journalists, as well as about the life of President A.Brazauskas you can find at: http://www.prezidentas.lt/en/pirmas_174.html
