PAS Center and Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Moldova announce the launch of the project "Support to reforms in the primary health care (PHC) in the Republic of Moldova"
The project „Support to reforms in the primary health care in the Republic of Moldova” aims to develop recommendations for PHC reform, based on effective international practices and contribute to the reorganization of primary health care centers with independent legal status in order to stimulate motivation and retention of the personnel by ensuring stability, self-regulation, accountability and democratic principles.
The lead expert of the project will be Dr. Juozas Galdikas, Professor, who has experience in several international projects.
On October 7, the launching ceremony of the Project was held at the Lithuanian Embassy in Chisinau and was attended among other guests by Marina Golovaci, State Secretary for Public Health and Primary Health Care, Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
The Project is implemented by the Center for Health Policies and Studies (PAS Center) with support of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
