Moldovan historians awarded the Alexandru Boldur Prize of the Moldovan Academy of Sciences
Moldovan historians, founders and partners of the non-governmental organization Pro Memoria, implementing projects supported by the Lithuanian Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme in the field of preserving historical memory and its modern presentation, have been awarded the Alexandru Boldur Prize of the Moldovan Academy of Sciences.
The prize will be awarded to researchers of the University of Chisinau, dr. Ludmila Cojocaru, prof., dr. habil. Anatol Petrencu, dr. Virgiliu Birladeanu, dr. Elena Postica, as well as dr. Lidia Padureac from Balti University.
During the consideration of the award nominations in the field of history and philosophy, book collections “Memory Archives” and “Memory Exercises” prepared and published by this group of scientists were taken into account, but also their academic and civic initiatives - photo document exhibitions, round tables, conferences, public lectures, university courses and study visits, as well as the impact and dissemination of the research results.
The official award ceremony will take place on November 10, 2020.
