Ambassador met with the President-elect
On December 17, Ambassador Kęstutis Kudzmanas had a meeting with Ms. Maia Sandu, President-elect of the Republic of Moldova. On this occasion, Ambassador Kudzmanas expressed congratulations to Ms Sandu for her election to the high position of President.
During the conversation, the parties addressed several subjects of major importance such as the management of the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic situation in the Republic of Moldova, the reintegration of Transnistria. Ambassador Kudzmanas reconfirmed the willingness and firm will of Lithuania and of the European Union to continue supporting the efforts of the Republic of Moldova on its European path, in implementing reforms and to provide the necessary technical and expertise assistance in the implementation of the Association Agreement and DCFTA.
